New Signing: Ello adds Kingsley Adu-Gyamfi

Widnes Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of electric forward Kingsley Adu-Gyamfi.

The 26-year-old has completed a switch from Newcastle Town and is eligible to make his debut at Hanley Town on Saturday.

Kingsley has made 146 appearances in the Northern Premier League since making his debut for Kidsgrove Athletic in August 2019.

A proven player at Step 4, Adu-Gyamfi netted double figures for Grove during the 2021-22 season, finding the net 14 times.

He first attracted the attention of Kidsgrove after scoring over 60 goals in a title-winning campaign for Stoke-based side Silverdale Athletic.

Kingsley can play across the forward line and offers a further option for Michael Ellison ahead of the run-in towards the end of the campaign.
