Widnes have been handed a trip to Stocksbridge Park Steels in the first qualifying round of the Isuzu FA Trophy.

The Whites were beaten at this stage of the competition last season, losing narrowly at home to Clitheroe.

Stocksbridge, meanwhile, reached the third qualifying round before losing away to Step 3 side Worksop Town.

These two sides met in the second qualifying round of the 2021-22 FA Trophy with Widnes winning on that occasion at Bracken Moor.

The winners of this tie will net £1500 in prize money while the losers will receive £450.
