First half saw a very counter attacking Vauxhall side miss early chances catching Vikings on the back foot with Lewis Tunney making way for Adam Cosgrove on the wing to strengthen the defence.
The relentless pressure from Vauxhall paid off as the two teams went in at half time 2-0 Vauxhall.
Second half saw a complete change in possession with Vikings pressing every opportunity and creating good chances. An own goal from Vauxhall gave Vikings FC Youth their first goal after pressure from Rory Stewart allowed Jay White a header at goal flicked over the keeper by the Vauxhall defence. 2-1 Vauxhall, now shaken, broke free and again had chances on goal but an outstanding performance by goalkeeper Callum Jones kept the deficit at 2-1. Injury to Joey Cosgrove allowed Lewis Tunney to replace him with 10 minutes remaining.
Vauxhall now on the back foot allowed Vikings to press hard into the opposition half. With 2 minutes left on the clock, persistence by Jay White ,now on the left wing, paid off as a perfectly timed ball through to Rory Stewart allowed him to clinically finish into the bottom right corner. 2-2

Manager Dave Carr: "we came into the game after a convincing win last week. The lads knew what they'd be up against and needed to rise to the challenge. The first half let us down but the second half, the lads stepped their game up and wanted to win everything. A well deserved point and positives to take away from today's game"
