Widnes Football Club is now in a position to issue a squad update following a series of incomings and outgoings following the appointment of Michael Ellison as a manager.
It's been a busy three weeks since Ellison was appointed as our new boss and the squad has undergone an overhaul with a number of new additions.
The Club can now confirm the addition of the following players who have made their debuts in recent weeks.
- Max Bardsley-Rowe - arrives on an initial one-month loan from Macclesfield
- Ryan Gibson - returns to the DCBL Stadium for a second spell and is now playing under Ellison at a third different club
- George Hassall - an energetic and industrious forward who lists AFC Fylde, Marine, Prescot Cables, Warrington Rylands and City of Liverpool amongst his former clubs
- Louis Isherwood - a young central defender with an impressive pedigree having spent time with both Wigan Athletic and Chorley as a youth team player
- Will Jones - a vastly experienced Northern Premier League striker who arrives from City of Liverpool
- Sean Miller - a versatile forward who has National League experience with Altrincham, Chester and Curzon Ashton
- Keyni Mills - a Bermuda youth international who arrives on an initial one-month loan from Radcliffe
- Jordan Simpson (pictured) - a commanding defensive midfielder who progressed through the youth ranks at Swindon Town before playing in the EFL for Forest Green Rovers
