Widnes Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of forward Alex McMillan.
The 27-year-old moves to the DCBL Stadium having left Prescot Cables earlier this week, reuniting with James McCulloch and manager Dave Dempsey, who was a teammate of McMillan's during the Widnes boss' playing days.
McMillan (centre) netted against Widnes for Cables last season and has made 11 appearances for Prescot this term, scoring three goals.
Alex also lists Rainhill Town, Southport, Rhyl and Congleton Town amongst his former clubs.
"Macca is a great addition to the strong squad we are building here," Dempsey said.
"He's someone I've worked with previously and a player I know will hit the ground running, adding an abundance of quality in the final third.
"Alex will be great to have around the lads, and I can't wait to work with him again.
"I'm looking forward to him playing his part on our journey this season."
Welcome to Widnes, Alex!
