Widnes Football Club is pleased to confirm the signing of striker Jack Coop.
The 28-year-old arrives from Prestwich Heys having scored 32 goals in 46 games across all competitions this season.
Jack is the North West Counties Premier Division’s joint top goalscorer, and will add another option to Dave Dempsey’s frontline.
He’ll complete the season with Prestwich before joining up with his new teammates following Heys’ final day clash with AFC Liverpool this Saturday.
The free-scoring hitman also lists Maine Road amongst his former clubs.
“Jack will stay at Prestwich until the end of their season because he wants to finish as top goalscorer in the division,” manager Dave Dempsey said.
“He’s a player I’ve always been impressed with whenever I’ve seen him and we’re really excited about what he can add to the group.”
