Widnes Football Club is pleased to confirm the signing of forward Nathan Corness.

The 22-year-old arrives at the DCBL Stadium having spent the last 18 months playing for Litherland REMYCA in the North West Counties Premier Division.

Nathan scored 20 goals for REMYCA after a brief spell at Runcorn Linnets in the NPL West at the start of the 2022-23 season.

Corness has also featured at Step 3 for Warrington Town having spent time as a trainee on the books at Tranmere Rovers and Wigan Athletic.
