Widnes Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of striker Ste Milne.

The 28-year-old has completed a move from Bootle and is eligible for selection in tomorrow's trip to 1874 Northwich.

Manager Michael Ellison has moved to strengthen his options in attacking areas following the departures of Connor McCarthy and Eddie Servuts.

Matt Van Wyk and MJ Monaghan are both injured while Will Jones returned from a back injury to feature at Avro last week.

Milne (pictured left) lifted the FA Vase at Wembley in 2021 with Warrington Rylands and has established himself as an industrious goalscorer for a number of clubs in the North West.

He has made eight appearances in the Northern Premier League West this season across spells with both Bootle and Prescot Cables.

Ste spent the majority of last term with Skelmersdale United (scoring both home and away against Widnes) and has also featured for City of Liverpool, Lower Breck and Warrington Town.

Meanwhile, youngster Isaac Lee has extended his loan spell from Radcliffe for a further month.

The 20-year-old has made three appearances thus far for the Whites.
