Cameron Terry has been ruled out for 4-6 weeks with a shoulder injury picked up in Tuesday's defeat at Emley in the Emirates FA Cup.

The Widnes goalkeeper was on the receiving end of a heavy challenge in the first half and was withdrawn at half time.

The 23-year-old went to hospital as a precaution but x-rays came back clear with no fractures reported.

18-year-old Alfie Mather is in contention to start Saturday's FA Trophy tie against Clitheroe while manager Michael Ellison has moved to shore up the position by recruiting keeper Joe Mason through the week, who is eligible to feature.
