Five outstanding fixtures handed new dates

Widnes Football Club can confirm a number of outstanding BetVictor Northern Premier League Division One North/West fixtures have been handed new dates.

Clashes with Dunston, Ossett United (home and away), Tadcaster Albion and Workington have all been rearranged after being postponed earlier in the season for various reasons.

Widnes' scheduled trip to Ossett was called off due to a waterlogged pitch last month, and the Whites will now travel to Ingfield on Saturday 18 January, before hosting the reverse fixture at the Halton Stadium on Saturday 22 February.

On Saturday 8 February, Widnes will make the long journey north to Dunston - a fixture that fell foul of the weather earlier this month.

Steve Akrigg and Kev Towey's side will visit Tadcaster on Saturday 7 March and host Workington on Saturday 4 April - both of those games were originally postponed due to FA Trophy commitments.

Away games at Marine and Trafford remain outstanding.
