Manager Michael Ellison is confident Widnes can secure the NPL West title and promotion when Trafford visit the DCBL Stadium in the Whites' final game of the campaign.
Widnes require just one point to finish the job with Hednesford Town three points behind in second level on goal difference, although the Pitmen have scored more goals and edge the head-to-head record between the sides.
Easter Monday's 3-1 win at Vauxhall Motors was Widnes' first victory in four and ensured that the championship remains in their own hands ahead of season finale.
But Ellison is keen to ensure that feet remain on the ground and that his players focus on the task at hand and produce a professional performance on the day.
"Obviously we're in a great position but there's still a job to do," Ellison told BBC Radio Merseyside.
"We know Trafford aren't going to roll over for us. We're at home - where we haven't won for a while - but it'd be really fitting to to do it at home.
"Monday was a massive win for us. I've used the word character a lot this season and we had to win [at Vauxhall Motors], there was no two ways about it, but the lads delivered with backs against the wall and we just have to deliver one more time now.
"It's been a fantastic season for us, no matter what happens, and securing a play-off place is a massive step forward for the club, but we don't want to be going into that... we want to get over the line.
"If we can get the job done on Saturday I think we'll look back on what has been an outstanding season."
The boss paid tribute to the travelling away supporting following the victory against the Motormen and is anticipating more vocal support for the visit of Trafford with so much on the line.
"There was a great turnout against Nantwich and a great turnout away at Vauxhall on Monday," Ellison said.
"The gates are growing. We've had a few messages this week already and a lot of friends and family will be there, so I'm certainly expecting one of our biggest crowds since we've been here.
"But people have just got to get out and back us, it really does make a difference. There was a good section of young lads behind the goal singing on Monday and it was great to see.
"Support like that really does create a feel good factor and hopefully there's a great turnout to get behind the team and we get the job done."
