Date arranged for City of Liverpool cup-tie

A date has been arranged for Widnes' Liverpool Senior Cup first round tie at City of Liverpool.

The Whites are due to visit the Purps on Tuesday 29th October, with kick-off at 7:45pm.

Steve Akrigg and Kev Towey's men have reached the semi-final stage of this competition in two successive seasons, while Craig Robinson's hosts have never progressed beyond the first round, losing out to Widnes at the same stage last season.
