Widnes Football Club can confirm midfielder Adam Bott has returned to parent club Chester.

The 19-year-old made 19 appearances while on loan with the Whites, scoring twice in victories at Stafford Rangers and Congleton Town.

The club wishes Adam all the very best for his future career. 

Elsewhere, Michael Simpson has left the club to join Bootle.

The right back only joined from City of Liverpool in November, making four appearances.
