Widnes to Head to Isle of Man in Pre-Season

Widnes Football Club can today confirm our provisional pre-season schedule in preparation for the 2019/20 Evo-Stik North West season.

• Widnes v Southport, Friday 12th July - 7.45pm
• Rylands v Widnes, Tuesday 16th July - 7.00pm (JMO Sports Park)
• Isle of Man FA Rep. Side v Widnes, Saturday 20th July - TBC
• Runcorn Town v Widnes - Tuesday 23rd July - 7.45pm
• Widnes v Warrington Town - Friday 26th July - 7.45pm
• Ashton Town v Widnes - Tuesday 30th July - 7.45pm
• Market Drayton Town v Widnes - Saturday 3rd August - 3.00pm
• Buxton v Widnes - Friday 9th August, 7.45pm

Widnes will begin their pre-season schedule with a home game against Southport for the second successive year, hosting the Sandgrounders at the Halton Stadium on Friday 12th July.

The Whites will then embark on a game against North West Counties Division One South Champions Rylands at JMO Sports Park on Tuesday 16th July, before heading to the Isle of Man for a friendly against an IOMFA representative side on Saturday 20th July.

A trip to neighbours Runcorn Town follows on Tuesday 23rd July before hosting Evo-Stik Premier Division side Warrington Town on Friday 26th July in a local derby at the Halton Stadium.

Widnes then face trips to Ashton Town (Tuesday 30th July) and Market Drayton Town (Saturday 3rd August) before wrapping up pre-season with a trip to Evo-Stik Premier Division side Buxton on Friday 9th August.

Admission details will be confirmed in the coming weeks.

The Club will also be able to provide further information for supporters wishing to travel to the Isle of Man in due course.
