Widnes complete double signing

Widnes Football Club are delighted to announce the double signing of goalkeeper Ryan Neild and forward Conor Ready.

The duo signed ahead of Monday's 1-1 at home to Newcastle Town in which both player made their debuts.

Neild (pictured), 23, joins the club from Northwich Victoria having only signed for the Trickies from landlords Witton Albion in the summer.

Ryan also lists Chester FC, AFC Liverpool and Airbus UK amongst his former clubs.

Ready, 22, moves from Evo-Stik Premier Division side Marine having made four appearances for the Mariners since signing in the summer.

Conor came through the ranks as a trainee at Blackpool before going on to appear for ECU Joondalup (Australia) and Radcliffe.
