Fixtures release day is always an exciting time for supporters as Widnes get ready for their debut season in the fourth tier of the English Non-League pyramid following back-to-back promotions.

Widnes will be in the Evo-Stik Division One West for the 2018/19 season, renewing acquaintances with Runcorn Linnets, Atherton Collieries and Skelmersdale United, while facing sides such as Colne, Droylsden and Trafford for the first time.

The opening round of league games is scheduled for Saturday 18th August, with the Emirates FA Cup Preliminary Round scheduled for Saturday 25th August. Meanwhile, the final day of the league season looks set to take place on Saturday 27th April 2019.

FA dates are to be confirmed, but it is anticipated that the Buildbase FA Trophy Preliminary Round will be scheduled for Saturday 6th October.
