The draws for the Emirates FA Cup and Buildbase FA Trophy have been released
The Football Association have announced the draws for the preliminary rounds of both the Emirates FA Cup and Buildbase FA Trophy this lunchtime.
We will open our FA Cup campaign in the extra preliminary round on Saturday, August 11th - meaning our competitive first-team season begins a week earlier than anticipated.
We have been drawn at HOME to Northwich Victoria, with the winners of that tie being drawn AWAY to Burscough or 1874 Northwich in the preliminary round on Saturday 25th August.
Our first-time inclusion in the FA Trophy - the primary cup competition for clubs at Step 1 to Step 4 of the National League System - will begin with an extra-preliminary round tie.
We have been drawn AWAY to Droylsden on Saturday 29th September, with the winners rewarded with a HOME tie against Tadcaster Albion on Saturday 13th October in the preliminary round.
