Widnes FC will go in search of an eight consecutive win in all competitions on Saturday, with Steve Akrigg and Kev Towey's men travelling to Charnock Richard.

Here is some information for those Widnes supporters looking to make the trip to Mossie Park.

DIRECTIONS
From M6 Junction 27

Follow the signs for Standish. At the traffic lights in the centre of Standish turn left and head north on the A49. Keep on the A49 through Coppull, and into Charnock Richard. Turn right onto Chorley Lane (B5251) just after the Hinds Head Pub. Continue on the B5251 for approximately 1/2 mile and take the next turning left onto Charter Lane. The ground is 200 yards on the left.

From M6 Junction 28

At the end of the motorway slip road turn right and travel up to the traffic lights at the junction with the A49. Turn right and head south on the A49 for approximately 4-5 miles, through Euxton, and into Charnock Richard. At Charnock Richard, turn left onto Church Lane (400 yards after Buy-a-Bike) and then take the next turning right onto Charter Lane. The ground is 400 yards on the right.

CAR PARKING

There is a large gravel car park at the ground for up to 80 cars. The club kindly asks supporters not to park in front of residential houses on Charter Lane.

MATCHDAY REFRESHMENTS

The clubhouse is directly across from Mossie Park on Charter Lane. A tea bar located inside the ground serves hot pies and hot dogs as well as the usual range of hot drinks, soups and Bovril.

There is a fully licensed clubhouse across the road from the ground serving a wide range of alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and food.
