Witton Albion came from behind to beat Widnes 3-1 late on at the DCBL Stadium.
Witton were the better side in the first half but had little more than a Cameron Fogerty volley that dropped just wide for their efforts.
A slight tactical adjustment paid off for Michael Ellison’s Whites into the second half and they soon took the lead when Ste Milne finished well into the top corner.
The visitors looked to their bench, and the introduction of Tom Pope paid off for boss Jon Macken.
It was Pope who equalised 13 minutes from time, rising above Louis Isherwood to head home.
And that same man was on hand to turn home from close range to make it 2-1 in stoppage time before Elliot Rokka added a third.
