The Club are looking for an FA-qualified individual who will become part of the Widnes Football Club management team and oversee the Development Squad team management duties for the 2017/18 season.

The Club are seeking an individual who has a desire to develop young players along a pathway to the First Team and beyond. The ideal candidate should hold any relevant coaching qualifications but this is not essential as the Club are willing to aid any successful applicant in achieving any relevant qualifications.

The Club is keen to ensure that any applicants share the ethos of the current management team that looks to play possession-based football with an emphasis placed on technical quality.

The ideal applicant will have a good knowledge/contact list for young players at existing local and league clubs, which will be focused upon the area local to the Club and surrounding regional areas.

The successful candidate will be joining a highly ambitious, semi-professional football club with recent success at Step 6 of the Non-League football pyramid (North West Counties First Division) and a focus on moving up the Non-League pyramid.

Applicants will be shortlisted and interviewed with the process of appointment being completed before the end of August 2017.
