On Monday 13th August, a five-a-side tournament (open to 16-18 year olds) will take place. Then, joint first team manager Kev Towey will host an attendance and talk event on Wednesday 15th August.

Both sessions will take place at Prescot Soccer Centre from 1pm-2.30pm.

Co-manager Towey said, "I want young footballers to know that we will give them an opportunity to develop and there is a pathway to the first team.

"The coach for the academy will be an experienced first team player providing that link and pathway to the first team."

The Academy is still recruiting ahead of the 2018/19 season, hosting trials every Monday and Wednesday at Prescot Soccer from 1pm-2.30pm.
